In the glass, Isotta Sveva reveals the character of Tre Filari. The low yields and the age of the vines give the wine balance, complexity, and a maturation process that continues over the years in the bottle.
Aging in French Allier oak barriques complements the wine subtly, enriching it with delicate spicy notes without masking the Sangiovese’s character.
On the nose, aromas of ripe cherry, plum, and red berries emerge, accompanied by light floral notes and a refined spiciness. On the palate, it is balanced, fresh, and harmonious. The tannins are fine and contribute to an elegant mouthfeel, with a delicate and well-defined finish.
It pairs naturally with the great dishes of Tuscan cuisine: cured meats and aged cheeses, pappardelle with ragù, risottos, red meats, game, and dishes featuring mushrooms or truffles.
Serve at a temperature between 16 °C and 18 °C.
